Give the build a clear starting point
Whether you have a prototype, a pilot run or a repeat build, the first task is to align the production files and requirements. Hehong helps organise that discussion and coordinate quotations with manufacturing partners.
What can be coordinated
- SMT and through-hole assembly requirements.
- Customer-supplied material or sourcing requirements.
- Board panelisation questions and assembly drawings.
- Programming, inspection and functional-test requirements.
- Production milestones, open questions and delivery records.
Prepare these inputs
| Input | What to make clear |
|---|---|
| PCB files | Released revision, board thickness, finish and panel information. |
| BOM | Part numbers, quantities, reference designators and do-not-fit items. |
| Placement data | Current revision, board side, units and assembly notes. |
| Test requirements | Required checks, firmware, fixtures and acceptance criteria. |
Confirm before ordering
The manufacturing partner, equipment suitability, minimum quantity, assembly price, tooling charges and delivery schedule are confirmed for the specific project. Hehong provides coordination; manufacturing is performed by the agreed partner.
Do not assume that an assembly quotation automatically includes circuit design validation, firmware development or a custom test fixture. Include these needs in the initial enquiry.
